In a meeting of a pair of unbeatens, PCC's veteran savvy and strength inside proved too much for North, outrebounding the Jags 41-28 and forcing 20 NL turnovers and 34 percent shooting.

On an interesting side note:

Has there ever been a meeting of two more accomplished coaches in Kentucky history? Between Roy Bowling and Randy Napier there are 1,116 wins and five state championships.

I didn't realize PCC's coach was such a legend (haven't been much of a girls bb fan), but I did notice & comment on how well they were coached. PCC is a pretty good team.

Actually, you'e got coach Bowling's record wrong. I think you went on KHSAA website and they have it listed wrong.

I called Coach Bowling and got his career victory total and it was 489 to begin the season, so his record is actually 494 wins. I sent an email to to Butch Cope about this as well.

Good win for PCC. It is always good to go outside the region and defeat a good team.
