Bluegrasscard Posted May 20, 2020 Share Posted May 20, 2020 There are lots of problems in Central Michigan today. The Edenville dam that holds back Wixom Lake failed last night. The downstream dam, Sanford Dam is said be at risk of "imminent failure" today. These are both upstream from Midland, Michigan. There is a Dow chemical plant that employs 8,000 people in Midland that may be at risk of heavy flooding. Kentucky Windage Posted May 21, 2020 Share Posted May 21, 2020 I seen that today. I used to work in Central Michigan way too much to go into detail about it. A lot of old infrastructure in that area.
