nWo
A few strong storms are possible across the Cincinnati/NKY area. Modest heating coupled with conditions in the upper atmosphere will promote storm development by the early afternoon across Indiana. Marginal instability may limit storm formation however strong lifting will promote storm intensification with a few strong to severe storms possible along the front. These storms may initially pose a threat for both marginally severe hail and damaging winds. Wind damage will become the primary threat as storms congeal in a broken line segment. The HRRR radar shows the line starting to form in Indiana around 2 pm EDT. The storms should enter the Cincinnati/NKY between 3-4 pm EDT hour. I will try and update everyone later this morning. nWo
The only real change is that the Storm Prediction Center has extended the Marginal Risk Area southward to around the I-64 corridor. The HRRR radar simulation that follows is from 3-8 pm EDT this evening.
