One tool I use

I thought I would show one of the tools I use to post the strength of a possible tornado. Also supercell development and significant hail sizes. It is called a Forecast SARS-Sounding or Skewed T chart. It is a very useful tool that I've been studying and learning about. On this one, it is showing that a possible storm will reach heights of about 38,000 ft (upper left box). Also that the conditions are favorable for a significant tornado that could reach EF-4 in strength (lower left box). Let me say that this chart is showing that conditions are favorable for the strong tornado but as we have seen in the past a tornado may not form. So you will see me using this chart more and more during severe weather events. This one is actually from Sunday Night but we will have to wait and see if it stays this way.
