Landry Jones was God awful again today. This time he had three, yes three first quarter picks and he coughed up the ball, that was returned for a Houston (4-0) touchdown. Landry was hurt in the fourth quarter and it appeared it was bad, but no update was given. Lance Dunbar (North Texas) had 9 rushes for 48 yards and a touchdown. He also caught 2 balls for 17 yards. Donald Parham (Stetson) had 6 receptions for 56 yards and a score. On the defensive side of things for Dallas (2-2), Greer Martini (Notre Dame) led the way with 8 tackles. Derron Smith had a pick, while Micah Abernathy (Tenn) had a sack.

For the victors, Beniquez Brown (Mississippi State) had 9 tackles, DeMarquis Gates (Mississippi) had 8 tackles and the both had a pass deflection. Edmond Robinson (Newbury) had a sack. Deatrick Nichols (South Florida) had 2 picks and 2 deflections. Cody Brown (Arkansas State) picked off a pass and deflected another and Ajene Harris (Southern Cal) had 4 pass deflections. On the offensive side of things Nick Holly (Kent State) had 8 catches, 97 yards and a touchdown. Blake Jackson (Mary Hardin-Baylor) also had a touchdown catch. P.J.
