Oldham County comes into the tournament as the favorites to win both the girls' and boys' tournaments, but both tourneys are wide-open.

 

The Wednesday night semi-final matchups are huge because they are not only between the 2 and 3 seeds, they match up two huge rivals, North Oldham and South Oldham.

 

One of the top six (ranked) teams in the region will not make it to New Castle after Wednesday night's elimination game.

 

South Oldham is the defending boys' and girls' district champs.
