Dallas 24 Seattle 12

Recommended Posts

Dallas (2-1) had to come from behind to beat a spunky Seattle (1-2) team today. Dallas only rushed the ball 4 times in the first half and trailed but in the 2nd half, as they did last week they used the running backs not on as ball carriers but receivers and this made things easier, as it should for Landry Jones (Oklahoma) 30-41, 274 yards 3 touchdowns, 2 picks and 1 fumble. The star on the offensive things for Dallas was Donald Parham (Stetson), the 6-8, 257 pound tightend had 5 catches good for 101 yards and 2 scores. The 22 year old is going to an NFL camp, after the XFL season closes out. Lance Dunbar (North Texas) had 9 catches for 56 yards. He also rushed the ball for 23 yards on 8 carries. Cameron Artis-Payne (Auburn) grabbed 6 balls for 30 yards and then rushed the ball 13 times good for 80 yards. I think the former Carolina Panther will get another shot in the NFL. Dunbar is showing he can be a good third down back in the league, especially with his pass receiving skills. The Dallas defense was led by, Asantay Brown (Western Michigan) with 9 tackles. Ray Ray Davison (California) had 7 tackles. Hau'oli Kikaha (Washington) had the only sack. Josh Hawkins (East Carolina) had a pick.

For Seattle, my favorite linebacker in the league, Stevie Johnson (Kansas) and former Minnesota Viking had 14 tackles. In there was 2 tackles for loses. Godwin Igwebuike (Northwestern) had 7 tackles. Marcel Frazier (Missouri) had a sack. Getting pics was, Igwebuike and Channing Stribling (Michigan)

Notes

Austin MacGinnis (Kentucky) had two field goals for Dallas. 19 and 33 yards.

Over 22,000 were in attendance.
