Only thing I don't understand is why the #4/#5 seeds winner in the 42nd has to play the next night instead of the 26th. In the 43rd district the #4/#5 game is on Monday the 24th with the winner playing on Wednesday the 26th vs the #1 seed with the #2 vs #3 seeds playing on Tuesday Feb. 25. I think that is the fairest way with every team have a day between games. Also everyone did have a day between games in the 2018 and the 2019 42nd district tournaments.

That gives the 2/3 seeded teams two days before the finals. Defeats the purpose of being the 1 seed.

They get the advantage of playing the 4/5 seed winner that’s the way the 43rd is doing also the 42nd done it that way the past two years but switched this year for some reason. I checked all the district’s that have 5 or 6 teams in them and it’s a little half and half.

I get that argument to a degree. Imo the 1 seed should get every benefit possible. Play lower seeds and the extra day. Don’t want to play back to back days? Don’t be the 4/5 seed...just my opinion.
