South Dakota (11-8, 3-3 Summit) held check at home and pulled off a nice upset win over rival South Dakota State (14-8, 5-2 Conf). Tyler Hageedorn (Norfolk, NE) led the Coyotes in the win. He scored 24 points and added 6 boards to his stat line. Triston Simpson added 21 points, while Tyler Peterson (Lino Lakes, MN) chipped in with 18. For the Jackrabbits, Matt Dentlinger (Arcadia, IA) had a career high 26 points, with 7 boards and 6 assists. The Sophomore is going to be a force in this conference, maybe as soon as next season. Alex Arians (Madison, WI) another Sophomore added 16 points and 5 boards.
