The Spiders (14-4, 4-1 A-10) went to George Mason (12-6, 1-4 Conf) and got a rare win. They have now won there just twice in their last nine trips there. Grant Golden (Winchester, VA) hit 10-13 from the field to finish with 25 points for the winners. Jacob Gilyard (Kansas City, MO) 20 points and 6 assists and Nick Sherod (Richmond, Va) chipped in with 19 points. For the young George Mason squad, Javon Greene (Mcdonough, GA) had a career high 39 points. That is 22 above his season average and he added 4 boards and 4 assists on his line. A.J. Wilson (Laurel, MD) added 19 points and 8 boards.
