Iona (4-8, 2-4 MAAC) was able to pick up a home conference win tonight over Fairfield (7-10, 3-3 Conf) by seven points. Hitting 44.6% of their shots from the field compared to 38.9% for the Stags was one of many reason for the win. Tajuan Agee (Chicago, IL) had 13 points as did Asante Gist (East Orange, NJ). Gist came from the bench to get his points. E.J. Crawford (Hartford, CT) led the team with 6 boards and 10 points. For Fairfield, Taj Benning (Fair Lawn, NJ) led the way with 15 points.
