High Points (4-14, 1-3 Big South) shot just 37.9% for the game, but countered that with 88.9% from the free throw line to defeat UNC Ashville (7-8,1-3) by two points. A big difference in this one was the fact that the winners out rebounded Bulldogs 47-19. Leading Panthers in the win was, Denny Slay II (Woodbridge, VA) with 17 points and 6 boards off of the bench. Eric Coleman Jr. (Buford, GA) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Caden Sanchez (Columbus, Ohio) only had 4 points but pulled down a game high 14 rebounds. UNC Asheville was led by, Coty Jude (Fort Gay,WV) 16 points and 3 boards.
