Santa Clara (15-3, 2-1 WCC) pulled off a big conference upset lat night by defeating St. Mary's (15-4, 2-2 Conf) on the road last night. This one was close throughout with neither team being able to put away the other. It was the best game I watched all of last night. Leading the Broncos in the win was, Josip Vrankic (Toronto, ON) 22 points and 10 boards. D.J. Mitchell (Clovis, CA) came off of the bench to play 30 minutes and scored 16 points and grab 8 boards. The Broncos hit 81.1% of the free throws and hit 45.8% of their shots from the field. The Gaels

(15-4, 2-2 Conf) only hit 36.4% from the floor and nailed 82.6% of their free throws. Jordan Ford (Folsom, CA) had 30 points and 6 boards. Malik Fitts (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) had 17 points and 11 boards.
