January 10, 20206 yr With about 5:00 left in this one, the two teams were separated by just one point, with L.I.U. (6-9. 1-1 N.E.C.)leading. From there the Sharks had a nice little run to pull away for the 12 point win. The Sharks shot 54.7% from the floor, while Central Connecticut(1-15, 0-3 NEC) hit 50% of their shots. Leading the way in the win was, Raiquan Clark (New Haven, CT) with 22 points and 5 boards. Julian Batts (Pittsburgh, Pa) added 20 points and 6 boards. Virshon Cotton (Milwaukee, Wi) added 12 points. For Central Connecticut, who I believe is the youngest team in division one, they were led by Jamir Coleman (San Antonio, Tx) 17 points and 12 boards. Seldom used Ola Olamuyiwa (Lagos, Nigeria) came off of the bench two grab 2 boards and score 2 points.
