This one was ugly, but very competitive throughout the entire game. Terrell Brown (Seattle, Wash) only scored 17 points, five below is season average, but that was enough to lead Seattle (3-5). He also grabbed 8 boards and dished out 8 assists. Myles Carter had 10 boards and contributed with 12 points on the offensive end. Delante Jones (Chantilly, VA) scored 12 and grabbed 6 boards. Western Michigan (4-4) was led by their talented forward Brandon Johnson 19 points and 9 boards. Michael Flowers (Southfield, MI) scored 15 but hit just 5-15 from the field and missed some big shots down the stretch. Western Michigan won the battle of the boards 38-35. Neither team shot it well, with Western hitting a cold 37.5% compared to 36.8@ for Seattle.
