Hillsdale 41 Kentucky Wesleyan 14

Featured Replies

Terrible weather conditions and equally bad officiating made this one very hard to sit through. The Panthers turned in there best effort of the season only to have it diminished by three mistakes by the officiating crew that led directly to Hillsdale touchdowns. K-W was not going to win this game anyway but it sure would have made the trip home a lot easier had it been called more accurately.

How does Hillsdale compare to the better teams KWC has played? They were on my son's short-list. Last season they went deep in the playoffs. They had a QB-WR combo that was the real deal. I think both graduated.

Tiffin, Ohio Dominican and Findlay are one rung higher on the ladder than Hillsdale this year I think. The weather may have affected their efficiency on offense a little but they did not have the consistency that the other schools do on offense. They were very big on the offensive line but the Panther defense did a pretty good job at getting pressure on the QB and keeping the running game in check. K-W's offense

was no match for the Chargers defense though. On that side of the ball they were as good as any team we have faced this year.
