#5 St. Xavier (4-3) hosts #9 Butler (4-4) after a close loss to #4 Manual and are looking to get back on the winning track. Butler is looking to move to 2-0 in the district after defeating Pleasure Ridge Park. St. Xavier has a 5.6 average margin of victory after 7 games while Butler has a 1.5 average margin of victory after 8 games. St. Xavier has the #9 ranked rushing defense in 6A yielding 122 yards per game while Butler’s rushing is not in the top 25 of 6A at less than 100 yards a game. Butler has the #8 passing offense in 6A at 178 yards per game while St. Xavier has the #20 passing defense yielding 142 yards per game. St. Xavier has the #24 ranked rushing attack in 6A at 114 yards per game while Butler has the #17 rushing defense in 6A at 156 yards per game. This looks to be a potentially competitive game with St. Xavier being the favorite at home.

#1 Male (7-0) travels to #7 Fern Creek (6-2) after an easy win over Southern. Fern Creek is coming off a hard-fought win over Bullitt East. Male is #1 in 6A in average margin of victory at 33.6 points per game. Fern Creek is #9 at 9.1 points per game. Male defeated Ballard 41-14 and defeated Butler 61-22. Fern Creek defeated Ballard 15-12 and lost to Butler 26-0. Male has also played a tougher schedule.
