South started slow but finished in the end.

FS had scoring drives of 89 and 80 yards to start the game but couldn’t find the end zone after that. SW offensive line did a great job of protecting Veltkamp tonight. He had plenty of time to find open receivers and wasn’t pressured very often. FS offense seems to continue improving even against the best defense it has seen so far. Still some work to do for the Wildcats but I’m still confident it will come together in time for district play.

The three teams FS has played go to next week with combined records of 9-0. The team FS plays next week is 3-0.

FS continues to improve but each week is a step up in competition. I believe that BGA will be the best of the first four opponents.

Secretariat was trailing the field coming out of the first turn in the Belmont. Won by 32 lengths.
