August 20, 20197 yr An organized complex of thunderstorms will likely be moving through south-central/southeast Iowa early this morning. As this mesoscale convective system moves southeastward later this morning it is expected to gradually lose intensity. By the time this system reaches Indiana and western Kentucky, it is expected to be characterized by organized multicells. Even with this anticipated weakening, strong winds gust is still possible. Also, some of the stronger cells may produce some hail. Scattered strong to severe storms will be possible for other portions of Kentucky by around mid-afternoon. I will be following the situation closely. Check back for updates and also follow out Twitter page for any possible warning.
