May 31, 20197 yr Stanley Cup Finals Game 2 I finally got to watch this one. Carl Gunndarson hit the post with less than a minute to go in regulation that would have won it for St. Louis, but he got another chance. With a little under 17 minutes to go in overtime, Brandon Carlo hooked Alexander Steen, taking him down. Since the Blues kept the puck after the penalty was called, it became a delayed penalty situation. Jordan Binnington took to the bench and St. Louis had an extra man. Gunndarson placed a perfect slap shot by Tuuka Rask giving the Blues their first Stanley Cup Finals win. Great game. The series is tied 1-1 with Game 3 in St. Louis, tomorrow night.
