The 16th Region champion Vikings (38-3) meet 15th Region representative Lawrence County (35-5) in Semi-State #8 on the campus of Morehead State University at 12:00pm on Saturday.

Rowan County carries a 30 game winning streak into this matchup and leads the state in runs scored (396) and team ERA (1.21). The Bulldogs, meanwhile, have been on a tear of their own, winning 19 of their last 20 contests. LC's Jackson Feltner has swung a hot bat this season, hitting well over .400 with 15 home runs and 55 RBIs. He'll likely have a chance to stare down Rowan County ace AJ Hacker, who sports a 10-1 record with a miniscule 0.60 ERA.
