Eleventh Region champion Tates Creek (31-7) faces off against 12th Region representative Somerset (22-12) in Semi-State #6 on the campus of UK at 7:00pm on Saturday.

Somerset will lean on the bat, and perhaps arm, of Kade Grundy, who leads the Jumpers in batting average (.473), home runs (7), ERA (1.84), and strikeouts (57). Wichita State signee Colin Burgess helps lead the way for the Commodores, making their first state tournament appearance in five years.
