Pleasure Ridge Park vs. Taylor County (Whitaker Bank/KHSAA State Baseball Tournament)

After conquering the 6th Region, PRP (26-9) faces 5th Region champ Taylor County (32-8) in Semi-State #3 at Eastern High School at 4:00pm on Saturday.

The Panthers are making their third consecutive state tourney. But their pursuit of the school's seventh state title will commence without the services of ace Dallas Glass (WKU signee), who suffered a season ending arm injury earlier this month. That injury has seemingly brought this team together and inspired PRP to play their best baseball over the past three weeks.

PRP's pitching staff will face a formidable challenge in the form of Taylor County's offensive lineup. The Cardinals have five batters hitting .393 or higher and rank 4th in the state in four-baggers with 31.
