Beechwood extends their record to 36-1 with Noah Carter's complete game 4 hitter striking out 3 and no walks. BW had great defense all day and were led by Dillon Doveshie(?) with 3 hits including a 2 run homer, 2 run double and a single. Carter extends his pitching record to a state leading 12-0.

Final. Carter Noah goes for the Tigers and threw a CG 4 hit shut out. He looked fabulous all day and had all his pitches working. Dylan Doverspike has 4 RBI’s, he hit a 2 run home run and a 2 rbi double. Tigers will await the Highlands vs St. Henry winner in the 9th Region Final.

Carter was in complete control allowing only 4 baserunners. In the 1st Ryle had an opposite field dying quail drop for a double down the right field line and a two out single putting runners on the corners. Carter crushed this potential rally by picking off the runner leaning at first. He has an exceptional move for a righthander as he has multiple pickoffs this season. He had great command of his overhand curve today as he only surrendered two other harmless singles (4th & 7th) with both runners stranded.
