In America, the Eagle is a symbol of liberty and freedom, but if you are a little chipmunk or bunny rabbit, the sight of an Eagle is terrifying. In the Bible, Eagles are also associated with dangerous enemies coming down to destroy groups of people. The Assyrians are described as Eagles getting ready to take the Nation of Israel away. A pretty good sermon over Hosea chapter 8. Click below to give it a listen.
