May 1, 20197 yr There is a Marginal Risk for strong to severe storms for portions of western Kentucky and those along the Ohio River into the Cincinnati/NKY area later today. Afternoon heating along with a warm and unstable air mass should promote the development of thunderstorms some of which could be strong to severe. Timing is trough the afternoon into the evening hours. The main threat looks to be damaging winds.
