April 22, 20197 yr Scattered strong storms may produce isolated gusty winds and small hail for portions of Kentucky from around the I-64 corridor northward Tuesday afternoon and evening. Ahead of an eastward progressing cold front a few strong storms will be possible along the front and a few strong/locally damaging wind gust and small hail could accompany these stronger cells into the early evening.
April 22, 20197 yr Author Just wanted to update on the possible timing of the showers and possible strong storms on Tuesday. The scattered storms some of which could be strong to severe look to enter northern Kentucky around 2 pm EST and move southeastward. For now any strong storm looks to loose intensity as we move into the early evening hours. The following maps are from 2 pm to 7 pm EST. Radar EHI I will update in the morning.

April 23, 20197 yr Author Quick update. I've been looking at the latest HRRR information. Scattered thunderstorms look to develop during the early evening hours around the I-65 corridor and south of I-64. For now maybe not much in the way of severe weather but the EHI is showing an increase in atmospheric conditions that could be conducive to the formation of strong to severe storms. I'm watching it and will post updates later.
