Nashville clinched a playoff spot with a shutout of the home team in Minnesota, last night.

 

Juuse Saros saved 29 shots and Ryan Johansen scored a shorted handed goal for the Preds. Nashville pulled back within 2 points of Central Division leader, Winnipeg, who lost last night, and remain 2 points ahead of St. Louis.

 

The Preds have 5 games left, the Jets and Blues have 6.

 

Since beating the Lightning in Tampa a couple of weeks ago, Minnesota has gone 1-6.
