USF had a 4-0 lead after 4 innings. Then 5-1 after 6, but then the wheels came off.

 

In the 7th, AJ Bumpass lead off with a homer to center, his second homer of the series. Then starter Alec Wisely walked Mitch Holding. Richie Cruz was brought in to stem the rally, but instead poured gas on it. Eric Santiago doubled to right field (0-1 S); Holding advanced to third. Jeremy Johnson singled up the middle, scoring Santiago and Holding. Logan Lyle relived Cruz and closed out the game for USF.

 

The rubber match is later this morning.
