swamprat Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 It was Blake Wheeler night in Columbus, last night, as he scored 4 goals in the Winnipeg win. With Sami Niku and Nick Foligno exchanging goals in the 1st and Blake Wheeler exchanging goals with Seth Jones in the second, it was 2-2 after 2 periods. Blake Wheeler scored his second goal with a little over 12 minutes left in the game and his third on a 2 on 2 man rush with 2:13 left. The 4th came on a break away with an empty goal and 32 seconds to go. The Jackets remain 2 points out of the last playoff spot, behind Pittsburgh and Montreal. Tuesday night they play at New Jersey, the Penguins host Florida, and the Canadians are in LA.
