Those first 4 games look really solid for LaRue. They should get them ready for a heck of a grudge match against E-town come October 18th. I like what Jaggers has going on in Hogdenville.

The LaRue County locker room and weight room got a pretty major makeover during the dead period.

LaRue senior tight end Mark Goode has committed to WKU. The Hawks' offense was very run-based in 2018 on the shoulders of RB Anthony Adkins who graduated and is headed to West Point. Goode led the team in touchdown receptions. They also return last year's #2 running back Jeremiah Belton, who racked up 1301 yards and 10 TDs on the ground last season.

Quarterback Connor Baker split time in the backfield with Dailliss Cox last season, and after losing Cox to graduation, is likely to be the main man behind center this year as a junior.

OL/DL Tucker Shelton will be a major player on both sides of the ball. He was the Hawks' #2 tackler last year. Junior defensive end Preston Self will be another one to watch for this year.
