swamprat
Finally!! An exciting outdoor game. In front of 69,000 plus at Lincoln Financial Stadium in Philly, in a rain storm, Claude Giroux scored with 3:01 left in OT for the win. How the game got to overtime is kind of miraculous, though. Down 3-1 with 4:20 to play, the Flyers found themselves in a 4 on 3 power play for a 1:10. They pulled their goalie to go 5-3 and right when both teams got men back, James van Riemsdyk scored to cut the lead to 3-2. Then with just 19.7 seconds left and Philly with an extra man on offense due to an empty net, Jakub Voracek got an odd angle shot by Matt Murray to tie the game.
