The Scott Lady Eagles claim he 37th District Championship 69-39 over Bishop Brossart.

Scott sophomore Mya Meredith scored 35 points to lead all scorers. Her classmate Sofia Allen and Senior Summer Secrist each contributed 13 points apiece.

Brossart senior Mariah Frommeyer countered with 12 for the Lady Stangs.

Scott used a 13-0 run midway through the second period to break open a relatively close game (24-18 to 37-18) and cruised to the victory, their 22nd of the season, against 10 losses, while the Brossart gals fall to 20-10.

Brossart's Rosie Jump and Marie Kiefer were named to the All-Tournament team.

Summer Secrist, Sofia Allen, and Mya Meredith were the Lady Eagle honorees.

Both teams advance to next week's 10th Region Tournament at Montgomery County High School in Mount Sterling.
