Columbus came back from a to goal deficit in the 2nd and 3rd periods on scores from Josh Anderson and Nick Foligno. However, Thomas Tatar broke a 2-2 tie with the game winner midway through the 3rd period in Montreal.

 

With Pittsburgh winning, the Penguins and Jackets swap places in standings. The Pens go to 3rd in the Met and Columbus falls to the last Wild Card spot.
