Vegas broke a 4 game losing streak with a 50 shot on goal performance at home.

 

Juuse Saros got pelted with 41 shots on goal the first 2 periods, many were break aways, as the Nashville defense was off playing blackjack somewhere. He only gave up 2 goals in that onslaught, but he must have been worn out as he gave up 3 goals on only 9 shots in the 3rd.

 

Kevin Fiala scored the lone Nashville goal, cutting the Knight lead to 3-1, early in the third, but the Preds could not get anymore past Malcolm Subban, P.K.'s brother, in goal for Vegas.

 

Nashville has lost 4 of its last 5. Winnipeg lost in OT, so they fall another point behind the Jets in the Central. As hot as the St. Louis Blues have been, winning 9 in a row and getting at least one point in the last 11 games, they are still 8 points behind the Preds in 3rd.
