After Cody Eakin scored to give Vegas a 3-2 lead midway through the 3rd, Cam Atkinson scored 2 goals to get the win in the land of card games and slots.

 

Cam scored with under 6 minutes to play and then capitalized on a penalty when Paul Stastny slashed Artemi Panarin with 2:56 to go. Panarin had tied the game 2-2 in the second with his 21st goal of the season. Josh Anderson opened the scoring for the game.

 

Thanks to Pittsburgh's losing streak and Columbus' 3 game winning streak, the Jackets have gone from the last playoff spot in the East back to 3rd place in the Metropolitan Division.
