I didn't get back from the UK game until around 10, so I only got to see the 3rd period, but you could tell the Bolts were tired from that battle the previous night in Long Island. After getting out to a 3-0 lead through 2 periods, they struggled mightily to hold off the Rangers in final period at MSG. Tampa Bay could not get the puck out of their zone and were getting hammered. You have to hand it to Louis Domingue. He was taking point blank shot after point blank shot and only let a power play goal through.

 

Eric Cernak scored his 1st NHL goal and Steven Stamkos picked up his 28th of the season. Yanni Gourde also scored.

 

The Lightning now have 80 points and lead the Atlantic Division by 15 points over second place, Toronto.
