Last night, Yuengling Center, Tampa.

Legend has it that the University of South Florida, particularly the basketball arena, is built on a Tocobaga Indian burial ground. That legend has been the source of much blame as to the failure of the basketball and volleyball teams over the years. The best season in recent years was when the Sundome was being renovated, during 2011/12, and the Bulls were playing in the Tampa Bay Times Forum (now called Amalie Arena) downtown. That was the last time USF saw any post season play. Maybe pour a little Yuengling on the Indian burial ground and magic happens? :)

Brian Gregory has done an admirable job in rebuilding the disaster Orlando Antigua left in Tampa. 3 more wins and the Bulls (13-6, 3-4) are guaranteed to have their first winning record since the aforementioned 2011/12 season. Of course, they still have to win 3 more.

The Shockers (8-10, 1-5) are struggling mightily during their 2nd season in the American. Gregg Marshall was many people's next head coach a couple of years ago. How about, now?
