Mustang Posted December 9, 2018 Posted December 9, 2018 The Brossart Mustangs wheeled right back within 19 hours of defeating Lloyd in overtime, to out-man the Ludlow Panthers 80-48 on Saturday afternoon at Ludlow. Ten Mustangs put ink in the scorebook, led by Bryson Wieland and Ethan Eilerman with 16 points apiece. They were joined by double-figure scorers Carason Schirmer (13) and J.D. Schumacher (10), all who scored double-figures also in the Lloyd game. Freshman David Govan began his potential journey to the Mustang's 1,000 Points Club with 5 points and Senior Justin Kiefer broke through with a 6 point outing. Freshman Brogan O'Brien got hot late, nailing a trio of 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to pace the Panthers with 14. Devon Kleier and Noah Hoffmeister added double-figure performances of 11 and 10 respeectfully. The Mustangs improve to 4-2 on the season and will host Holy Cross and Highlands in the week ahead.
