October 9, 20188 yr Author Sled- It's hard to imagine that this old timer isn't already in the Hall, they have to go in this year. Uno- It's a great family game night staple, but it's hard for me to put in a card game...unless it is Rook. Pinball- I just don't see this as a toy for kids, maybe I'm wrong but it's not getting my vote. Chutes and Ladders- Most over rated board game in history? Even little kids get bored with it quickly. Magic Eight Ball- Lots of life decisions made by this thing for people. Does it get my vote this year? "My reply is no." Masters of the Universe - Umm No American Girl Dolls-Way too new (1986) for me to consider at this point. Tickle Me Elmo- see above. Fisher-Price Corn Popper- Ultimate little kid noise maker and it's got a long service life...It gets one of my votes. Chalk- Nothing that can be used to assign Homework or used for punishment, deserves to be within 100 miles of the Toy HoF. Tic-Tac-Toe- Great time killer and way to keep small kids quiet, but no game that ends in 5 seconds gets in the HoF. Tudor Electric Football- Hardest decision, great memories of this game...but game played like CRAP!!! Everyone lost the felt football within hours of opening the box and the little men never did what they were supposed to. That said, as a kid I loved it. If I was to give a third vote Electric Football would get it. Edited October 9, 20188 yr by Jumper_Dad
October 10, 20188 yr Corn Popper Sled Magic Eight Ball The way my wife constantly talks about them, wouldn't be surprised if American Girl Dolls makes it. Apparently every little girl in the late 80-90s was obsessed with these things.
