Ram Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Class 1A As folks began wondering if the gap was closing on Beechwood at the top of Class 1A, the Tigers decided to make a statement by knocking off a ranked 6A Simon Kenton in a big signature victory. Another team making their presence known was Raceland, specifically the Raceland defense, which won a meat grinder game against Somerset. Pikeville also got a huge win by outlasting Hazard. The Bulldogs must regroup against a Phelps team desperate to shock the state. Two huge games also stand out at the back of the Top 10. Holy Cross and Lynn Camp each have monster district clashes that they can not lose if they want earn a top seed. 1. Beechwood vs. Bellevue (10/4) 2. Raceland -- OPEN 3. Pikeville -- OPEN 4. Hazard at Phelps 5. Paintsville vs. Fairview (10/4) 6. Campbellsville -- OPEN 7. Crittenden County at 2A Ballard Memorial 8. Williamsburg vs. Harlan 9. Louisville Holy Cross at Kentucky Country Day (10/4) 10. Lynn Camp vs. Pineville
HT721 Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 I’ve got Williamsburg at 6, other than that I agree completely. 5-10 are all pretty close if you put them on the field.
