Today at 10 o'clock the jv squads from these two schools played each other. Noone thought this could of topped last nite. This was a very intense games and the players kept jawing back and forth. Finally one player from CCH was ejected, and a player from HHS was also thrown out. In the first quarter CCH pulled out to a quick 7-0 lead with a pass from John Whery to Matt Klare. This scored held until halftime. The Bluebirds came out in the second half and scored to tie the the game 7-7. The Bluebirds held the Colonels offense for awhile. The Bluebirds scored again and the PAT was blocked. This made the game 13-7 HHS. HHS had to punt in the last 19 sec and just took the saftey to make it 13-9. The Colones got the ball at around thier 40 yard line with 3 seconds left. Could this be like last night? John Whery threw up a prayer. There were about 4 Colones and 4 Highlands. Ryan Shouse somehow came down with the ball on the 3 and fell in, while time expired. THis mad the final score 15-13 in CCH favor. Good game by both teams. Way to go colones.:banana: :thumb:
