June 26, 20188 yr The threat for strong to severe storms continues today. The Storm Prediction Center has most of Kentucky in a Marginal Risk Area for scattered strong to severe storms this afternoon into the early evening hours. At this time the main threats looked to be damaging winds and hail. A brief weak tornado can't be completely ruled out. An EF-1 tornado was confirmed in Ohio County yesterday. The simulated radar shows where the strongest possible storms could occur later today. The time period is from 11 am to 2 am Wednesday morning. Be weather aware today. As yesterday showed there doesn't have to be a weather watch to be issued for severe thunderstorms or tornadoes to occur. Take care and I'll try and update whenever possible.
