June 21, 20188 yr Some could see strong to severe storms Friday afternoon. The Storm Prediction Center has most of Kentucky in a Marginal Risk Area for strong to severe storms mainly during the afternoon and early evening hours. The timing looks to be mainly early afternoon for the stronger storms to form. The following simulated radar is from 11 am to 11 pm EDT. This shows the energy in the atmosphere looks to be conducive to the formation of severe storms during the same time period. The threats, for now, looks to be damaging winds, hail and a tornado or two. I'll update in the morning.
