May 19, 20188 yr The Eagles trailed 7-5 going into the bottom of the eighth, but MSU tied the game with 2 in the eighth and won it on a walk off single by Tyler Niemann, driving in Trevor Snyder. Yesterday's Southeast Missouri game at EKU was rained out, so MSU moves within a half game of second place. There has been no indication as to whether the game will be made up today. I would imagine travel plans would prevent it, unless the game is going on right now. If that is the case, SEMU drops their last game to EKU, and Morehead wins their season finally over Tech, the Eagles could take the second seed in the OVC tournament outright. Any tie with Southeast Missouri results in a third place finish for MSU.
