A loss today would have led to a 3 way tie for the AAC Championship. However, after a 4 hour weather delay in the 3rd inning, with USF (35-20, 14-7 AAC) leading the Shockers (30-19, 12-9 AAC) 2-1, South Florida wrapped up the weekend as the sole winner of the regular season American Athletic Conference Championship.

 

Not bad for a team picked to finish in near the bottom of the conference. u.gif
