Runcible Owl Posted April 17, 2018 Share Posted April 17, 2018 Ronnie Baker joined Christian Coleman, Justin Gatlin and Mike Rodgers, in an attempt to break the American 4x100 Meter Relay record in Knoxville last weekend. Their time of 38.08 fell short of the record, but is the 2018 world leading time. UT Vols: Justin Gatlin, Christian Coleman miss on first record attempt Louisville native Baker (Nike) is in his second season competing as a professional and is one of the world’s top sprinters at 60 and 100 meters. At Texas Christian, Ronnie was a two-time NCAA champion and 12-time All-American. At Ballard, Baker was a four-time KHSAA State champion, and twice a Gatorade Kentucky Track & Field Athlete of the Year.
