Lone Oak vs Trigg County

Featured Replies

In reality, Trigg should probably still be a top 10 team in 2a...They had back to back losses to Ft Campbell and Caldwell...They should have beaten Ft Campbell and Caldwell has proven to be a solid team...Lone Oak, on the other hand, has been too up and down to get much of a read on. They are a good offensive team and they can pass the ball well, but, doesn't always show up. I like Trigg in this one and look for them to make a serious run in the playoffs. As a matter of fact, I'm picking them to win the region..You heard it hear

1st...

Lone Oak 28 Trigg Co. 24

Trigg is in the playoffs no matter what. Lone Oak needs to win to guarantee a playoff spot and only miss out if they lose and Webster beats Heath. The Flash may have a little more to play for.

However, the Flash will be facing a Trigg team that has allowed their opponents to complete just 29% of their passes and have 12 sacks the past two weeks. It should be a good game for three quarters before Trigg pulls away 41-20.

I see Trigg County winning at Lone Oak, setting up the best 1st round matchup in the state-- Trigg at Ft. Campbell. I think Heath should beat Webster County but the game is at Webster, so anything could happen.

I agree this new playoff system is terrible for this district.

I am going with Trigg Co. 28-21.

If the rain keeps up, it would have to favor Trigg's running game over Lone Oak's passing game.

The Wildcats didn't prove to be very good mudders at Caldwell. But Caldwell's defense up the middle is quite a bit better than Lone Oak's.

Trigg 14-7.
