February 9, 20188 yr Author The Weather Prediction Center has most if not all of SEKY in a Slight Risk Area for excessive rainfall this weekend. This area is bordered by a Marginal Risk Area for excessive rain. Some parts of WKY could see some freezing rain Sunday morning. From .03-.08" accumulation is possible. The rest of Kentucky should see just a cold rain as the precipitation exits out of Kentucky later Sunday morning. Then another batch of rain will move across south-central and southeastern Kentucky later Sunday afternoon. Rainfall accumulations could be around 5" in some parts of EKY especially around the Cumberland River. I will update later this evening.
February 10, 20188 yr Author Some along the Kentucky/Tennessee border could see some thunderstorms on Saturday. Nothing severe at this time.
