February 4, 20188 yr If nothing else the Patriot League makes for some close games and today was no different. Colgate (13-10, 8-4 Conf) came back to beat Navy (15-10, 6-6 Conf) Both teams took turns leading but it was Navy who let them one slip away as Colgate took control late in the game. The Raiders connected on 40.8% of their shots, while Navy hit 49%. Both of these were high then the athletic Kentucky Wildcats hit in their loss to Missouri. Leading Colgate with 16 points was,Jordan Swopshire(O' Fallon, MO) he hit 4-9 three's and pulled down 9 boards. Navy dominated the boards 4-22 and out shot Colgate but came up short where it mattered the most the scoreboard. Leading the Midshipmen was,Tom Lacey(Glen Ridge, NJ)with 13 points, 9 boards and 4 assist. Navy had 18 assist for the game compared to just 9 for Colgate.
